As an educational approach, Service learning underpins the Diploma Programme's core component, Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS), for it focuses on helping students apply their academic knowledge in real-life situations that include community service. In this session, we will identify some Service learning opportunities that are both transdisciplinary and beneficial to the community, and will critique those activities in relation to how well they help students achieve the CAS programme?s outcomes.
