Self-management skills are beneficial inside the classroom and beyond. However, developing those skills- from time-management to mindfulness- is not easy because they require the metacognitive awareness of the person to be engaged in the development process. Self-management, still, helps students improve their studying habits, achieve better results, and become lifelong learners. In this session, we will focus on describing self-management and its attributes, and exploring some ways in which teachers and school administrators can help learners develop that set of skills.
