Teacher Skills Forum 2017

The aim of this session is to support IB world schools offering the Diploma Programme with the implementation of the curriculum and the programme standards and practices. The session will provide insight into how DP courses are developed and reviewed, as well as providing an update on recent and upcoming changes from the academic division. The session also seeks to increase understanding and support schools in planning for the evaluation process by, for example, offering guidance on the explicit inclusion of approaches to teaching and learning in this process. The presenters will offer guidance on the self-reflective nature of the evaluation, on how to show evidence of the implementation of selected standards and practices, and on how the integration of the self-study into a school?s overall development plan is vital for a beneficial school experience. The session will be a mixture of presentation and interactive elements.
